Registration Open for ISC Cloud’12

Online registration is now open for ISC Cloud’12, which will be held September 24-25 in Mannheim, Germany.

The conference will feature a talk by Paolo Balboni, founding partner at ICT Legal Consulting, Director of the European Privacy Association, and Cloud Computing Sector Director, who will discuss “Legal Aspects of Cloud Computing” in a panel on HPC Cloud Challenges. Other members of the panel are: Max Lemke, Franz-Josef Pfreundt, Wolfgang Ziegler, and Giles Hogben.

According to the announcement, the panel will examine “the potential obstacles to cloud adoption, such as security and trust, compliance, outsourcing, performance, virtualization, pricing, payment model, software licenses, choice of service provider or private cloud builder, network bandwidth, and integration of all of these into existing business or research processes.” To see the complete conference program, please visit isc-events.com.
