Fedora 21 Server 64-bit

The Fedora Project is a free software community sponsored by Red Hat. With Fedora's rapid release schedule, you get the latest in virtualization, networking, and other technologies. The 64-bit Server version on this DVD is aimed at system administrators and is not a Live distro. Fedora 21 Server includes:

  • Cockpit – A web interface that makes managing your system easy: monitor system performance, view the status of your servers, and deploy and manage container-based services.
  • Rolekit – Ultimately, Rolekit will allow users to declare a machine as a particular kind of server (e.g., database, mail, file, etc.) and have the installation and configuration details handled automatically. The first release in Fedora 21 comes with a single role: the Domain Controller.
  • FreeIPA – An integrated security and identity management solution..

The former BackTrack Linux is now the Kali Linux penetration testing and security auditing distribution. With more than 300 pen testing tools, Kali is FHS compliant and completely customizable. The version on this DVD runs Live.
