Tails 6.0 Released
Tails 6.0, based on Debian 12 “Bookworm” and GNOME 43, has been officially released, reports Marius Nestor.
The latest version of this security-focused Linux distribution includes many new features and updates, such as:
- Error detection for Persistent Storage to help diagnose hardware failures
- Protection against malicious USB devices
- Support for automatically mounting external devices
Tails 6.0 ships with the GNOME 43 desktop environment by default and is available from the website now.
