Unfilled Cybersecurity Jobs at Record High

The cybersecurity workforce gap has increased by more than 50% in Europe and Asia over the past year.

The number of unfilled security jobs around the world increased to 3.4 million during the past year, according to data from (ISC)², reports FOSSlife. 

According to the (ISC)² study, the number of unfilled jobs rose 9 percent to 410,695 in the  United States. Globally, however, the cybersecurity workforce gap grew by nearly 60 percent in the EMEA region and 52 percent in the APAC region.
