Microsoft Patches The ASP.Net Security Vulnerability
Microsoft reacts and patches the security vulnerability in ASP.Net that enables attackers to gain access to protected data in web applications, which was brought to light last week. Updates for the affected Windows operating systems can be found in the Security Bulletin MS10-070. There are security update available for Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows Vista SP1, Windows Server 2008 (R2) and Windows 7.
