Workshop on Workflows Announced

Free training session for the HPC community will take place at 12 US locations

The Blue Waters sustained petascale computing project is sponsoring a free Workflows Workshop at several locations in the USA. According to the announcement, the workshops will include “… a general session on the value of workflows and how they can enhance research productivity,” followed by “… presentations and hands-on sessions with six different workflows.” The announcement goes on to say: “The objective is to assist the community in understanding the capabilities of these various workflows and to get people started with their usage.”

See the XSEDE website for information on registering for a Workflows Workshop. Registration closes on August 2, but capacity is limited at many of the venues, so some spots might fill up sooner.
