Tasktop Dev 2.1 Released
To better advertise its developer-centric nature, Tasktop Technologies recently renamed its Tasktop product line to Tasktop Dev and announced the release of Tasktop Dev 2.1. Eclipse Mylyn 3.6 (Eclipse Indigo), an ALM (application life cycle management) framework that makes task development an integrated part of the Eclipse IDE, is included in v2.1, along with updated connections between Mylyn and Agile and ALM tools. The Tasktop Dev 2.1 release includes a host of new features, including storyboard and developer-centric Kanban support in Tasktop Planner for Eclipse, with integration for HP Agile Accelerator and Rally, HP ALM, and QC workflow execution; support for complex fields; and the first-ever support for HP ALM and HP QC on Linux and Apple Macintosh desktops.
Tasktop Dev 2.1 is now available in Pro and Enterprise editions for US$ 99 and US$ 199 per user per year, respectively. For a limited time, the Enterprise edition includes the new Tasktop Sync 1.0 on an introductory basis. Sync enables IT shops to synchronize ALM servers from multiple vendors and open source projects.
