VMware Cloud Foundation 9 Released

New features aim to streamline infrastructure management.

Broadcom has released VMware Cloud Foundation 9, which will “make the deployment, consumption, and management of a secure and cost-effective private cloud faster and easier than ever before,” according to the announcement blog post.

VCF 9 offers a more streamlined approach to infrastructure management, with features such as:

  • A new centralized console that allows admins to manage capacity, configure governance policies, and access the security dashboard all in one place.
  • New integrated workflows to simplify the transition between operations and automation tasks.
  • Enhanced insights and analytics to enable more proactive management.
  • Native VPC deployment to reduce the operational burden on IT and enable faster provisioning of workloads and applications.
